S Joel Norman – Traveling Light

This is an absolutely beautiful song to start with.  This remix features EastWest’s Hollywood Strings, Backup Singers.  S Joel Norman is extremely talented as a musician and vocalist and I truly enjoyed this project.

My remixed version is fully loaded with a full strings section (1st/2nd violins, violas, celli, basses), and an alto flute section.  You’ll hear the 3 backup singers as well as an accompanying solo singer.  I decided to take Joel’s vocals and build from that staying true to the original production concept.  The original had acoustic and electric guitars, organ, and piano.  I only kept the acoustic guitars and piano.

The Hollywood strings by EastWest is absolutely beautiful and realistic sounding.  It is definitely my “go-to” for orchestral parts.
